    Another Formal Introduction

Took delivery a few months ago. Worked out the kinks and decided to take a few pics and post them. We love our Tige! Thanks to all you active members for all the valuable information.

Newb-to-Newb...Welcome. Your boat is awesome looking. Red and White is so clean, yet agressive looking. I like it.

BTW, help another newb out. How did you get your pic to show up like that and not as a thumb?

      Pics

Check out the FAQ section of this site. I opened my pic in Microsoft Paint and resized the image down using the Horizontal/Vertical %%. Once you get it to the appropriate size, save it. Go to a thread or create a new one - then Browse your files for the pic. Once you submit your reply or thread, it will appear like this.

            yearroundboarder,

Welcome to forum. Sweet ride! I love the tower!! I am driving all the way to California to get one put on my boat. Maybe I can get an Xplosion revolution going on in my neck of the woods. Except, no year round boarding for me unless it is on snow!

Welcome to the forum. Very nice boat. You need to add Havasu to your list of lakes. We are building quite a TIGE family their.
                Let it be!!!

                  Explosion Tower

Moki - Thanks for the welcome. The tower has been great so far. We've added two Fusion 6.5" speakers on it and I can still easily lower it and raise it myself in only a couple of minutes. I garage my Tige so this was critical. My only real complaint is the tube rubs slightly when I fold the front legs down - leaving a few marks on the tower. At the end of the day, the function and form are great. I live about 10 minutes from Tige' Watersports. If you get down in my neck of the woods, look me up.

Great looking ride. To keep your tower tubes from rubbing, use an old life jacket to place in between. I have the same issue on my Monster Tower when I fold the legs down on it. That pretty much takes care of the issue.

                          YRB,
I am trying to decide on what speakers to add. I am definitely going with Fusion, just don't know what speaker. Did you look at any others besides the 6.5" I am leaning towards the P - Series, but they are a lot $$$. I am coming down next monday, but is going to be a hectic day: Drop it off, pick out bimini, speaker etc. and then make the long drive back. I will be back in a few weeks to pick it up and will have more time. I will send you a PM and let you know when I am coming back and see if we can get together. Congrats again on the sweet boat.

Congrats from another satisfied Tige Water Sports customer... Ditto what XP Jim was saying about the Tige presence at Havasu...it's becoming something of a home lake for the Tige crowd in the southwest... I suspect you will see some similarities between our boats when you look in the gallery!!! Congrats and be safe...

                              what speakers to add

Moki - I looked at a few products. A good friend of mine put Skylon's on his Malibu. They sounded alright, but it could have been the limited power he was running. I had heard very good things about the Fusion 6.5's and worked out a pretty good deal with the folks at TWS on install of those, the amp and moving my sub to the kickpanel. I was out at a local lake last weekend - 90 degrees + (Beautiful Day). In any event, we gave my system a thorough workout and I rec'd nothing but compliments from those on board and our other beach neighbors. The Fusion 6.5's sound great throughout the volume range and seem to like the power!
