speed control conversion 2006 Tige 20I

Looking to upgrade my speed control on my 2006 Tige 20I and having a great deal of difficulty finding a product that will work with the marine power ecm.
Has anyone had any luck doing this

Im guessing your MP is drive by wire? If so, there not a system I know of. One owner made a conversion of some type, that gave the speed control actuator a control lever to push/pull on back in the engine bay. Was documented here.

perfect pass has a dbw stargazer wake edition for a marine power 5.7.i have installed in a 2006 24v that works great

Perfect pass rep stated they will not support that 06 DBW MEFI, so it may work, but glitchie. Whats the part number?

Is your MP engine silver or charcoal? Odd for a V to have the Charcoal DBW engine as most finished out the model year using the older silver cable driven.

Hey guys,

Marine Power uses a MEPHI-4 ECM. This is the same ECM that is used on most MasterCraft boats from 2005. Perfectpass is compatible with the MEPHI-4 ECM and have no problems controlling a 2005 MasterCraft boats.

The Marine Power engines, for some odd reason, do not work well with cruise control system. These odd problems were never solved by Marine Power. As a result, Perfectpass decided that supporting these engine was not worth it due to performance issues.

Spoke with Mark and ordered system on 10/31/17. Had Norris marine install. Had problems with boat going into limp mode. Norris could not figure out problem or did not care to. After research online, I corrected problem by re calibrating throttle position sensor. Has worked ever since.

Lets go back a bit. Did your boat have the old style perfect pass or did it have Tige's cruise control? There was an ECM flash that ran PP on that year model. It was very rare and I do not think they got it completely dialed in.

it had perfect pass.The gauge quit working and was not availible any more so i had to upgrade to gps stargazer .
