    New to the Tige family

    Hi, to all,
We recently joined the Tige family with our purchase of a 2000 21V Riders Edition. Our kids had outgrown our '75 Cobalt tri-hull, 302 Ford, Mercruiser sterndrive. The boat had 41.1 hrs on her and hadn't been in the water in 2 years. I changed the oil, checked the trans fluid and v-drive oil, installed a new battery and we put her in the water. It is totally factory/dealer stock as the first owners didn't modify anything. It has the 350 Merc Mag MPI motor with an OJ 14X18 prop (plenty of power). I think the tower is a Phat tower, but I don't know if that was stock. There is a PSS Shaft Seal kit in there, but it is the low speed kit (water hose carbon disc on order). There are some blue stains on 2 of the seats (still trying cleaners). There is a small chip in the gelcoat on the bow and a scuff mark on top of the transom from a buckle, otherwise the hull/upholstery are perfect. The Carlisle tires and cover need to be replaced (Goodyear & Rankin). The boat ran great. A few gallons of water leaked past the shaft seal (I think) then stopped. The Trans light oil pressure switch is stuck. The TAPS pump was low on oil so we couldn't try that. All in all I think we got a great deal. This forum has been great and contains a wealth of info and fun things to read.

Congrats and welcome to the site. That particular model was one the first Tiges and wakeboard boats I had been behind.

                Roger & family,
I just got my Tige this year as well and have loved it. I ran into a similar deal as you, an older boat but low hours. Mine had 104 hours. 41.4 hours??? That is unbelievable. Congratulations on the great find.

Welcome to the forum and we are looking foward to seeing pictures of her on the water!

Welcome to the family. We bought our boat last summer, and the people on here have been a great resource for information and fun.

                  Enjoy!

                  Mike
