New owner 2007 Tigé 20V

Hey guys new to the Tigé forums. Just purchased a 2007 Tigé 20V a few days ago, mainly because it had to fit in my garage... I had to deflate tires a little to get it in... anyways I have a couple questions.
1) I have a switch on my dash that says dock lights... nothing appears to turn on and I can’t find any lights that look like dock lights... does anyone know where they are?
2) when the boat is sitting on the trailer the prop can rub the prop guard underneath... I assume this should not happen? I think the prop guard might be bent up a little. Any idea how to bend it back down?
3) the boat has a couple deep gauges in the gel coat... what is the best/easiest repair?

Docking lights are on the transom near the front of the hull. The prop guard should not rub at all, most of them can be un-bolted and removed. You might be able to bend it back or take it to a fab shop. I've repaired deep gouges in gel coat with JB Weld Marine, but it was in an inconspicuous spot under the hull. There are other threads on here about gel coat repair.

The only lights I can find are under the rub rail at the front and they are the Nav lights. One is red and one is green. Maybe mine didn’t come with docking lights...

Sometimes if they didn’t come with the option, they would leave the switches in place as essentially just an accessory switch.

For the prop does the guard look bent or is your prop too big? I’d check the clearance between the hull. I believe you want 3/4” maybe a little less. With it as it is you’ll have to be super careful floating it on the trailer so you don’t bend anything.

Tige was pre-wiring their boats for the available options, even if the option was not chosen. So perfectly normal for there to be a docking lights switch and no docking lights.

What prop does the boat have?

The boat currently has ACME 1235 4 blade 14.5”x14.25”V. The previous owner kept the boat at the lake and never used the trailer so they may have never had issues. But I will be trailering it all the time.

Yeah, a 14.5" dia prop is pretty large for that hull. trailer manufacturer likely never expected a prop that large being used.

I’d recommend swapping down to a 1433 acme. Similar to the 1235 but a tad smaller.

Thanks guys... I will be looking for a 1433 over the off season. Don’t want to risk bending something under the boat when loading.

Another option is to place spacers of adequate height under the bunks to increase your clearance but I agree a 1235 is big for that boat.
