I installed a new touch screen and I’m having trouble updating the software.

The new screen will not operate my stereo. The AVX screen is different. This is the picture of the software from the old screen

Any ideas or help? I’m trying to keep the boat on the water the last few weeks of this season.

The screens for 16 and down were different and had a different software version for the Polk that in the glovebox. Not sure you have the final update version that was for the 16 and down screens.If you had the software for 17 and up that have the ICE module that would explain it. OR if you got sent a MY17+ screen Im not sure if it will work on a 15 or not... Justin @ Tige would be the guy to answer for sure in regards to software version.

Try a different thumb drive. I had the same problem. Can’t remember exactly how I solved it but I think that some thumb drives don’t work. You update is the same I used so it should work. Do you have the dealer code?

Seems like a fix someone did was to use a PC rather than s Mac to upload into the thumb drive. Pretty sure I formatted the drive first as well. Something about a FAT 32 file structure.

In any case your close. I can’t remember exactly what I did, but I solved it with a couple emails to Justin and some searching online. Wish I had written it up when it was fresh
