Now when you run both at the same time you get some nice results. But yea overall taps 3 makes a killer wave compared to listed or a gate.

it has a vx. I've surfed ragboy's with the vx. I really like the wave that it produces. jason sent me some inside info on some great deals but at the end, this fit the bill and price better.
I know the wave, will be amazing for the 2 of us-who are both regulars so really don't give 2 $hits about the goofy side and when we are on the lake, we don't care if it can switch sides in 3 seconds or not be a listed boat. a solid replacement for the old 22ve that will have a wave much better..

Correctly set up taps 3 all day everyday and it isn’t close.

I'm not saying you are wrong. I'm also not dogging TAPS3. It is a great system with lots of benefits. Don't view my comment as an attack. I'm just saying you don't NEED it to have an awesome wave. And yes, I was joking around.

I'd love to try a properly setup TAPS3 Z1/R21 compared to a properly setup Vx with suck gate. I've never been able to compare them directly. When the cost of switching boats is about $40,000, I'm not willing to take that bet without proof. The waves are different for certain. "Better" is subject to interpretation.

For those of us without that $40,000+ to spend, a properly configured Vx or AVx will be excellent. That's what I'm saying to sandm.

You're right, "hype" was the wrong word, and not what I meant to portray. I actually didn't realize I said that until dakota quoted me. My bad. TAPS3 is legit. I did get to surf a TAPS3 boat this year (thanks Harvard!) and it was kickass. His was only a 20 footer too.

Sure have. If you aren’t experimenting you aren’t pushing the envelope and can’t give customers accurate data when they ask. We want to make sure we can give that correct info.

Taps 3 on everything we have jerky lol.
