    I still don't see the issue with people camping at temple bar??? we stayed in the camp ground last year and loved it. we were the only ones there. it would be a great site as all the spots are together and could set up a central camp area. the only thing we didn't like was nobody from the group was staying there with us. Even if the "main" event was still at the picnic area it was a 30 second car ride from the camp spot to the event.

        Hopefully this doesn't eliminate the Lake Mead event and move it to CA.....if anything there should be 2 events with the ever-growing size of this Tige family!

          Contrary to some of the rumors floating around out there on other sites, there was never any serious consideration to move the reunion to California. Having said that, since this reunion has to my knowledge always been by Tige Boat Owners FOR Tige Boat Owners, we are trying to include everyone in the decision process... hence the survey.

          We will continue to keep everyone updated and ask those who may have questions to ask us directly.

            I'm only on one site, this one, and not that often anymore since selling my boat. I agree the owners should have the final say as you suggest and only offer the following for consideration. This reunion started in Vegas as a customer appreciation event for the local Tige Owners and has grown into what it is today including owners and attendees from many states near and far, which is awesome and what it's all about! So many people have donated countless hours so I won't try to name them all, but you know who you are. At some point it should maybe just split into 2 events to accommodate more people instead of moving it away from the core group that started it possibly making it harder to attend for many that already travel from out of town. I'm not saying it has to be at Temple, nor am I saying it shouldn't be in CA or UT or AZ.....I'm just thinking about everyone that has been attending for 10+ years and asking that they are all represented properly which I know you will do! All that being said, I'm sure many feel that I really shouldn't even have a say as I no longer can claim to be an owner....so take it for what it's worth.

            I look forward to seeing everyone each year and meeting new people....hopefully I'll get a new one in the future....until then I'll be boat whoring as long as I am welcome I guess!

              I don't want it split up, but I understand why that might be necessary. Isn't this called the "west coast tige reunion"? If that's the case we should put it somewhere where the entire west coast can feasibly get to it and has the room for us all. Tough call for sure. We REALLY like Temple Bar.

                      CA? Where would it even move to in CA if that were a possibility? I live here and I dont know a venue that would hold a candle to Temple. I dont know of the CA rumor, but whoever started it should be fired.

                        Thank you for those who completed the recent 2019 Tige Owners Reunion survey. We advertised on the Tige Owners forum, the West Coast Tige Owners Reunion Facebook page, and the West Coast Tige Owners Instagram page to maximize our participation rate. We received 26 responses. To avoid any conflict of interest, the coordinators did NOT participate in the survey. We have provided a brief summary of those responses here;

                        1. 100% of the survey respondents indicated their willingness to attend if we needed to relocate the reunion (due to limited accommodations at Temple Bar).
                        2. When asked “IF we were to move the reunion in 2020, where would you like the event to be?” the following were the results;
                        a) Stay at Temple Bar Marina, Lake Mead, AZ - 38.46%
                        b) Lake Powell (Antelope Point, Marina), AZ - 23.08%
                        c) Lake Havasu (Havasu Springs), AZ - 23.08%
                        d) Lake Mohave (Katherines Landing), AZ - 15.38%
                        3. More than 92% respondents chose “the friendships (new or old) and camaraderie of other Tige Boat Owners” as the primary reason they are interested in attending the reunion.
                        4. More than 96% were willing to volunteer for the event.
                        5. When asked what returning boat owners would like to see more of in 2019, the leading response was “time allotted for friends and family” at 40%.
                        6. When asked what returning boat owners would like to see less of in 2019, the leading response was “contests” at 56%.
                        7. When provided the open ended question of “if you could implement or change one thing (good or bad) at the event, what would it be?” we received 20 responses. Some noteworthy responses included;
                        a) More lodging (the coordinators are working on additional options with Temple Bar management. More to follow.)
                        b) As a sponsor, I would like to see more follow up on raffled off donations. More photos, more tagging of the sponsor. These items come out of our marketing budgets. (The coordinators agree!!! Please show our sponsors some love with your winnings on social media, to include sponsors who provided SWAG bag items. It’s not too late to post your appreciation from the 2018 event!)
                        c) I would say more demo equipment. It seems like some of the boards were hard to get our hands on this year. I know it is hard to keep track of where all the demo gear is so that is understandable. (We are looking for a demo equipment coordinator for next year’s event. Any volunteers?)
                        d) I would like to see more scheduled time with the group. Possible meet and greet in the restaurant or bar. (The coordinators have contacted Temple Bar. The meet and greet for the reunion will take place Friday evening on their patio adjacent to the bar).
                        e) Move the picture to early Saturday morning. (Consider it done! Picture will be at 9:00am).
                        f) More Pam. Less Dave. Just kidding. Whatever is done it is always a great time. (Noted, LOL)

                          Solid work. Nice to see you willing to let the event evolve and change year to year. There is reason it keeps getting better and it starts with the guy who puts and holds it all together.

                            Great work my friends. I have to say I'm not very familiar with the accommodations at Katherine's Landing.
                            I've boated there before but we stayed in Laughlin. Is there something else there?

                              Katherines Landing does have a hotel there with more than enough rooms. However, as you may know, it's (Lake Mohave at Katherine's Landing) one of the busiest places on the river year round.

                                The good water is one of the things that keeps me wanting to attend. If it were at a place with lots of traffic, it would be less desirable, IMHO. There is no better water than Mead in September.

                                Admittedly, I have not been to the last 3 reunions, but planned the first 8 or 9.
                                Be excellent to one another.
