RZ2 AVX error

I have a 2015 RZ2 that intermittently has an AVX error.






Does anyone have suggestions what I can check for the source of this error? Any feedback if the check on the port side error description versus the x on the starboard side description is telling me something?

I had it happen once. The dealer put in in the demo mode and moved it around. They think it became offset to one side. Moving it all the way up and then all the way down seamed to reset it.

Thanks. Interesting. One of the first times I saw this error I cleared it and put it in demo mode. Then I cycled the AVX all the way up and down to convince myself it was working OK. The error seem to clear for a while, but then came back.
I recall, in the demo mode, there is a display of how far the AVX moves at each setting for both left and right. At the time, I remember noticing that the left and right reading was slightly different on some settings. I wasn’t sure if that was normal from when the AVX may have been calibrated in the factory or perhaps an indication that something isn’t exactly right. I wonder if that has something to do with why the error periodically comes back (??)

I can’t help you much more. The salesman and service writer jumped up in the boat and had it moving in demo mode before I could blink. They said to come back if it did it again. I haven’t had to go back for that.

This is the downside to AVX boats. Being a 1 year run there is not much AVX support out there. Keep us updated on what you find.

Run the AVX demo. That will show you the values of the actuators that you are speaking of. If you need updated software, let me know. Yours is running a later version for sure because I can see Surf Enable button.
