Anyone ever wonder at what point the market chokes itself off? 100K for a 20 foot boat??? That seems nuts to me!

Few years ago it was 50K all day for the 20 foot MC NXT(which was never had for 50K)

Now its 100K all day for a RZX20??

All I can say it WOW!

Nothing against Tige, I know its not just them rather the industry as a whole.

Come on really?! 100k for a 20 footer I guess I'll be keeping my RZ2 for awhile. These prices are getting way out of hand. I'd love to get a new boat but not in my budget anymore.

Its what the market is unfortunately they are selling at these prices why would dealers change it. My R20 was half the price doesn't have half the upgrades as the RZX20 but also the same packaged new R20's are 20,000 more then my 2016 was.

This is really the answer, inboard boats are produced in numbers lower than exotic cars, and the boat OEMs have shifted their target buyer to someone who makes more than 150k+. Higher income buyers are better insulated against the next economic down turn and its a safer bet long term for the OEMs. They are risking alienating the next generation of boat owners but the used market is still pretty strong for entry level boat buyers. This means that many of the members of this website are being priced out of the possibility of buying a new boat to replace their 5-10 year old boat that they bought brand new.

You guys are lucky. Here in Canada we pay 40% more in dollars all while having more tax to pay and a lower buying power overall.

I can’t fathom how there is a market for these things.

With that said the pics and video of this RZX0 (what it should be called) is pretty impressive. I can’t believe how much space is in there.

Back on topic I think time is headed in the right direction with updating the entire lineup. Some may think the 20ft boat isn't needed but lots of people like the ease of storage and really never have too many people on board. Heck we normally go out with 3 people on our rzx...
