Bimini and towing?

After the weekend I was cleaning up and noticed some fraying on my surfing tow line where it is rubbing the bimini top. I then checked the top and could see wear on the top as well.

I didnt even think o check my wake boarding tow rope.

Is this normal?

We had a 2014 RZR that did the same thing. Our 2017 Z3 Bimini angles down more. Never had a problem with wakeboard rope.

Weve seen some Alpha Z biminis that get rubbed badly. We have our local cover guy add on some black Aqualon where it rubs.
