Hello all, old blue took her first major shot from a stump or log in a two years. We ran everyday in July and August in same lake and ive ran this exact location at every different speed which is scary. Lake was down about 3 inches. Had about 1000 lbs of weights in boat surfing and making jet skis happy. We had just atopped and finished riding for day. Jet skis wanted one more round of waves. I was running about 13 mph when i rocked a stump or huge log, never did find it.
Brought boat to immediate stop. Was a very hard hit, boat never died. Shut down to try to mark the offender but couldnt locate it. Started back up and the slightest rpm increase caused bad vibration. We idled back to lift. I have it high enough on lift to stand under it. I’ll be digging in this weekend and am hoping for some tips.
Fins are intact, everything looks good from a very limited inspection. I cannot believe there isnt major destruction.
Start with prop and move forward? Thanks all for any feedback.
