Glad you posted it. Just told about this today. Crazy you can't use 303 on it or Boat Bling.
    Oh Yeah!

Hopefully the new boats come with a bimini top that covers bow to stern. The sun is going to kill these things fast otherwise.

Great to know especially since cool touch is an option. I wonder if it is almost better to save a few bucks and go regular vinyl and be able to protect it better with products?
My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

Seriously. We jokingly call 303 mothers milk. No milk for the new stuff.

What are they going to say in a couple years when it’s dried out and cracked?

I wonder if its not a vinyl and some composite type thing that doesnt require protection? Is it the exact same material mastercraft uses?

I believe its the same as Cool Feel, but its sure looks and feels WAY different. I think it was exclusive to MC for X amount of time then it became available to everyone else. 19 Supras have it too

Let us all remember how great the *new* 2013 vinyl turned out.....

Yeah...when you buy your boat, just put $100 a month into a new screen and new vinyl fund. Kinda like saving for college.

has anyone checked to see if really is cooler? I tried a sample that the upholstery supply said was supposed to be cooler to the touch along with several other samples and used a digital infrared temperature gun to check surface temp after leaving it in the sun. The stuff I checked wasn't any cooler than the regular marine vinyl.

I havent checked it with my temp gun but I can. I will say we got in an Xstar with all black and dark red interior. Left it out on the lot with the cover off in the sun and the black was totally tolerable. Sure it was warm, but not as much as other black vinyl in the sun that ive felt in the past.

20 degrees cooler natural to natural cool touch. Thats in 115 degree heat. The crazier number? After the initial touch, the cool touch cooled another 8-10 degrees where the standard didnt change temp. Its for real.

I might be nitpicking, but it says "DO NOT use these or similar CLEANERS..."

The 303 that I use is the protectant. 303 also makes a cleaner, which is a different animal altogether. The protectant is not a very good cleaner, as most know.

                              Could 303 protectant be ok?
                              Be excellent to one another.
