2018 R21 Vs 2019 R21

Hey guys i am trying to figure out what exactly is the difference between the 2018 Tige R21 which i own VS the 2019 Tige R21?

Sub floor ballast and PnP bags standard.

With the PnP bags do they take up the entire compartment or is there room to store life jackets, etc in the back even with the bags full?

Just rigged a 19. Stock Pnps that came with the boat I rigged didnt look like they would fill the whole compartment, though haven't had it to the lake to fill it yet. They dont extend forward like an L bag either so you got some of the storage under the rear seats back.

Have an r23 to rig in a bit. Will post some pics

So how much subfloor ballast is there with the R21 and R23? Are we talking hundreds of pounds or thousands of pounds

Also... hard subfloor ballast tanks or bags subfloor? And more importantly, do they drain all the way?

Bags subfloor. Not sure on the drain as I havent been out with one. First R21 delivers this week and R23 goes on a test drive Friday. Will talk to the our sales guy and get his review.
Havent heard any solid weight numbers yet on subfloor bag size and PnP bag size. The dealer meeting is coming up in September so I am sure a lot more people will be in the know here in a month or so. Elevated or Koolaid probably know the straight dope.

Similar to old setup from what I can tell but the floor is truly a floor(liner) over the bag, not that flimsy piece of carpeted panel over the tank like in the past.

So far out of the 19 R22 and the R23 I have played with everything drains fine and so much more storage when the ballast is full.

I spoke with my dealer who stated the 19 has the 10” screen option also a cool touch seat fabric to reduce heat and a nicer glove box. Also as stated above pnp ballast, subfloor ballast with more storage due to a smaller rear bag that’s not L shaped.

Cool touch is an option as well as optioning the previous Z level interior. Yes on the 10.6 touchscreen and smart wheel. The observers seat is a full flip up instead of a two part seat that was in the 18. You can option the R as much as you want up to what used to be a Z level boat. 2019 also has larger alternator standard.
