Temperature range

What is the normal coolant temp range? I have a RZ2 with 50 hours and I usually see temp ranges in the 165 range while surfing. This past weekend temps were up around 173. Would this be considered a high temp what should I check to solve if this is a problem.

Mine is always within about 2 degrees of 160.. I wouldn’t think 173 would be scary, yet, but I would be concerned by about 180, and curious to why it’s higher than usual.

160-180 is normal operating temp. I assume you have the Raptor 400 motor, it will give you a low water flow alarm and then an overheating alarm before going to limp mode. If you are on a weedy or murky lake, make sure your sea strainer is clean.
