    Slide the coupler back from V drive flange a TINY amount. Then get out your feeler gauges and start moving them around 360* in the gap. Fattest feeler I will check with is a .030

    If its tight at any spot but moves freely through others then its out of alignment. Theres some videos on youtube that show you how to do prop shaft alignment on a DD so you can really see whats going on. Its the same principle for checking alignment in a Vdrive.
