Why would Tige remove it? They thought taps 3 was enough on its own, for them in hindsight it was a bad decision. Ive been harping to bring it back for a while, maybe next year...

I would steer away from changing 4 variables and trying to get perfection in one shot. You are running too small of bags in the rear so you need to get a little weigh back in the rear to stop the belly bags from teetering the boat over onto plane first of all. Second, check all the bags, especially the rears and make sure you dont have any of the bags folded up or bunched which would not allow them to fill up.

At times I do find it hard to run surf left and keep settings above 4, goofy any day every day 4-5 but regular I don’t know. I guess more weight is needed on that side.
He would be running that extra bow weight if he were running big rear weight, he isnt at the moment.

Tune to the degrees and it will tell you where you need more weight, dont just stick weight somewhere for the sake of it. Hes at 7-8 degrees now for example. If he were to add 300 in the bow he would prob have the boat running around 5-6 degrees which would be way to flat and the end result would reflect that.

Tune to the numbers, they wont lie.

Jason, I assume you are using some sort of inclinometer (probably your phone, like I am). Where are you taking your measurements, ie dash, top of gunnel etc.? I'm just not sure what is supposed to be flat to start out with. Maybe the floor, I guess.

Haha!! He was pissed at 500#. 12,000# would break his little mail truck, and sink my boat!! Would be a little bit of a payback for all the mail he delivers to the wrong addresses though!!

Get everyone out of the boat but you. All ballast and lead out. Zero it out on the floor and go.
