I know their is already a post talking about this with people who seem disappointed in some semantic changes for 2019. Rather then talk about it in snippets I thought I would write a little something up to clear up the confusion.
In 2019 the Tige lineup currently is as follows...
ZX5
ZX1
RZX3
RZX2
R23
R22
R20
R21
This list does not include the following...
Z3
Z1
RZ2
RZR
For those that do not know, the following hulls were identical aside from interior/exterior trim upgrades, and the above mentioned "badging".
Z3-R23
Z1-R21
RZ2-R22
RZR-R20
-For 2019, the R-Series line that was previously only offered in "entry luxury" trim models will now have full range customization.
-The base R-Series which has been the staple of the line will remain as the starting point with some upgrades that did not come with a price increase.
-The R series base will also be available to fully customize.... Below are examples of items that can be mix and matched..
-Interior upgrade from base R series to premium (previously only in Z and Rz series)
-Tower upgrade M2 to E2
-Tige base screen to Tige clear
-Stereo
-Dual fills
etc.
I hope this clears some of the questions and confusion up. This change within Tige is merely a simplification of the Line which now gives the consumer the ability to build something not possible before without losing anything from the past. Consumers now truly have the ability to mix and match options to build the perfect boat.
