I still haven't found anything other then a custom one that looks like it will fit. Are people really paying $1400 for covers?

To get a good fit I don’t know that you’ll find much cheaper. My tower mounts to the side so I got away using the factory cover. It just rides up over the mounts. Of course I only use it as a dust cover as my boat stays in my shop. As old as our boats are for a good fit I think custom is your only choice especially to keep rainout.

Not sure where your located but have you considered buying a cover and taking it to have it modified locally?

Buy it nice or buy it twice. A lot of those cheap 500$ covers are exactly that, cheap. You may get a few years depending on UV exposure and weather in your area, but they WILL wear out. Then go buy another 500$ cover. You've almost paid for the quality cover you should have just sprung for.

They are worth it if built by a reputable shop/sewer. Snap covers are nice but I prefer ratchet with a strap that goes to tower pylon to tent it for rain runoff. I like aqualon material the most.
