    2008 Enzo sv240 vs 2008 Tige rz2

Looking at both of these for our new boat. Tested out the Enzo sv240 and really liked but it has the slingblade system and sideswipe exhaust. Neither of which bothered me. Did ride through chop like butter which butter which I really liked. We mainly surf with some wakeboard as well. Can anyone comment on what to expect of the rz2 (2008) vs the Enzo? Both have the factory installed ballast.

You will need WAY more then factory ballast in the RZ2 for it to be a surf machine, but once loaded, it has one hell of a wave. The one real downside is the factory ballast makes adding additional ballast tough. It can be done, just not as easy as in that boat with no factory ballast. You can list it ans surf, stick a suck-gate on the side or go all out with some thing like Go-Surf-Assist. Listed over, im very confident its fuel consumption is far less then the enzo. For its time, the RZ had a lot of free board. Made for a very natural and comfortable seating as your knees were more perpendicular to the waist. A lot of boats then, had short seat boxes, putting your knees above the waist when seated.

Thanks Mike! Can anyone comment on taking down that Z tower I believe on the rz2? I thought I saw a few people say they are a pain to get up and down? My covered storage at the moment needs me to lower the tower a little to get in.

Ive lowered/raised the Z tower by myself. Not as easy as the newer single foot towers with assist shocks, but certainly not the hardest tower ive had to do by myself.

It’s not hard to get up and down but I recommend 2 people. Just remember that you speaker and tower light wires run through the pivot point and can get cut .
