I cobbled together a sucslapper this evening out of leftover/old sucgates parts and an old cutting board.

Don't you list your boat? Are you going to try a more even approach or stay listed?(with this) Did you get bow weight? Are you trying this weekend? I think it is kinda funny. I have devoted this weekend to listing the boat, and trying to figure that out.
It looks like a good version 1. I will be interested in hearing how it works, and what you might change for v2.

So we tried it on the 21v yesterday. It didn’t fit right at all and it popped right off. We didn’t have a whole lot of time so we just put the other one on and rode. I never really noticed a major difference in the hull between the 21v and 22i but there is one besides the obvious V in the running surface. The 4” space on the side, just above the spray pocket, is vertical on the V. It is angled on the I. The sucslapper never really had a chance. I’m headed out tomorrow with my boat. We’ll see what it does on there. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I was going to post over on the other thread, but that 15”x11” prop made a world of difference. It isn’t 100% there, but much closer. Great hanging and riding with you guys Nickypoo!!
Yesterday with a crew as high as 5, We had a 3, and Nick had his wife and buddy back and forth, we actually ran 100% ballast, +500 lead. The day before we had a bigger crew, 9 and 10, and we couldn’t quite run full, but could run like 80%, which is pushing double what we could before, at like 40%.. so it did make a far bigger difference than I would have guessed.. I think the 2:1 is probably the real solution to get the boat to do what is is sold to do, but I also saved some of my remaining hair being pulled out from frustration. I think that prop is a solid band aid for saving the rest of this summer, at least. I’m also going to copy this to that other thread.
