Ran the sucslapper on my boat a little bit yesterday. It’s an improvement of the standard DIY sucgate but still, no one really liked it. Still cut down the height, though not as much. It killed power as well. Again, not as bad as the other one. It showed a little promise. Still too much effect, but I’m going to cut it down and see if it helps. With just the single suction cup, it’s not very strong. Any turn against it or catching a set of rollers wrong and it pops right off. Hopefully the cut down will help that as well. Not a big deal as it’s just a test bed for effect. If I find something I like I’ll look at pulling the trigger on automation.
