on my boat it is small and doesnt hold ice well.
    - Mastercraft puts an area in thiers for a cooler to be taken in and out and has an arear for the handles to lay...my wife just loved that at the boat show, but didnt like the $$$$ tag that came w/it.

Couldn't agree more with the cooler griping. We have a 22v and the cooler under the observers seat is a pain. I like that in the RZ2 it is behind the driver's seat and a better size/shape. I agree that the mastercraft drop-in spot or the nautique cooler storage where the cooler can be slid out is great. We only use ours when it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise we have a cooler in the aft storage or on the floor behind the driver.

        Yes, I use it.

The fire extinguisher is in there, the boat registration, extra nuts and bolts that I think I might need some day, maps, the kind of stuff you usually put in a cooler. Some owner's manuals, too.

I liked the Malibu cooler on the 247. it was a soft side cooler that you could pull out, fill in the house, then just drop it in and go. That seemed nice to me.
        Be excellent to one another.

I sure do. We put our shoes in there. I did put ice and water bottles in there one time. It kept the ice pretty good. However the drain is clogged somewhere, I took it out and tried to unclog it but it is clogged farther under the floor.
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

I use mine for rope storage. It's tiny and under the observers seat. When we go out, we go out for the day so everything needs to be in the cooler. Food, soda, water and at least a case of beer. I use a real cooler behind the driver.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

that is where I put my cooler for us inboard guys.
I bought one of the "the cube" coolers by igloo and find it fits that spot alot better than your traditional 56qt cooler

You guys carry just one cooler?

I usually have one in the back hatch, one behind the driver, and we do use the built in one as a cooler.

                Sometimes one in the walkway..

Yeah, and I'm sure it's all filled with wholesome beverages

I've found that for longer outings, that I can put a rather large cooler in rear passenger side compartment on my V-Drive. Makes great ballast until you start drinking it. Of course, towards the end of the day no one's up for riding anyway

This is what we use. We find that it keeps the drinks cold, provides us with ballast and allows us to make some gas money off our friends and other boaters on the lake.

That should be standard on all models.

I know it plays football, but does it surf? Seems like you could mount it to the swimplaform for the ideal surf wake.

We tried that, but it kept scratching our teak deck and the really sloooow people (mostly Mastercraft people) couldn't catch their drink fast enough before it fell in the water and sunk.
