    Mission Delta + RZ2

Does anyone have any experience setting up this combination (ballasts, taps, speed, positioning, etc...)?
I have a 2013 RZ2 and ordered one of these and want to hit the ground running so-to-speak.

    Thanks!

Have run one on an RZ2 that had a VX. Generally with the shapers you want to get as much of the boat in the water as possible. I usually fill everything until it vents as percentages are just timer based and sometimes off. Then I will drain both fronts back down for about 1-2 minutes. Then drain some out of the rear offside bag and move people to surf side. That is generally a good start in my experience and then just make tweaks from there. May need a little of the offside weight out in the front as well.
Then just fill everything back up when switching sides and repeat dumping of offside weight and some of the bow weight.
I prefer running less bow weight in the RZ2 at the nose rides close to the water when off plane. Never power turn and keep an eye out for others rollers while doing turnaround or you can easily take water over the bow.
I'm sure others can give you a more dialed setup. I just dont even mess with timers and percentages anymore.

And approx. where did you stick the gate? does it have to be submerged completely when running at surf speed? and should it be all the way at the back of the hull? Thanks !

riding a '14 w/vx RZ2 w/mission delta, I also have the larger custom sacks (1200lbs extra in both rears) + upgraded to the 1235 prop. Fill everything 100% (maybe non surf rear 90% if I remember) and run taps at 4 and speed at 10.8. I reverse the Mission Delta and have the plate as far back as possible (so the suction cups are infant of the plate) and as low as you can but beware if the suction cup overhanging the lip it'll pop off if any portion is over the lip. I usually just run my fingers underneath both suction cups to double check.
I spent a good chunk of a day experimenting with MD position/weight/speed/taps and this is what I've found to be as dialled in as possible. Goofy wave is better then the regular side. It now takes 30 seconds to switch over from goofy to regular so thats a huge bonus and saves me $40,000 of having button do that.
        Hope that helps.

In my experience; Suck Gates ( mission, nauticCurl, etc.) should be run as close to the water line as possible. The water should flow over the device, but not spray back into the boat or be so low to as not raise the flow of water. Most boats i have been on seem to like the device as far back on the boat as possible. This does vary a bit from hull to hull. We run a NauticCurl on our 2015 AVX RZR, and feel that the wave is much cleaner with a bit more length and push compared to only running listed.

I ran a MD on my AVX equipped RZ4. The sweet spot for me was about 2 inches below the waterline and maybe 6 inches from the corner.

So, 2 inches below the waterline when boat is at stand still or when in plane when pulling a surfer ? Thanks for your response!
