Are you going to do ocean fishing then? I’d love to do a trip with like 3 ocean days, and 3-4 salmon days. A bunch of halibut and kings is the way to go!!

That's the nice thing about Seward. You can fish for halibut and salmon (among a few others as well) all in the same day. We wont necessarily be doing any fishing with clients. Our focus is local Alaskans. We will store, prep, and repair their boats, similar to what a lot of marinas do at lakes. We will also have lodgings for them once they get off the water.

        Thanks!
Check out the acme 3077, 17” x 15.5. Buddy of mine is running it in Denver on his RZX23 and it hauls the mail and gets the RPMs down to a realistic level, around 3500 at surf speed. He has the 440 with 2-1 trans

That’s the problem with the 2016, it’s a 1.5:1 drive. The 2:1s don’t struggle with elevation like the 2016s do. A 15.5 pitch prop won’t even move that thing on Tahoe. My 11” pitch won’t push half my ballast on Tahoe with a small crew. The 16s take a 15” diameter prop, which can be stretched to a 16” diameter, but it still needs that super low pitch at high elevations. According to Acme, I’m not fixing my elevation issues with my prop, anymore than I have already. Changing my gearing is my only real fix.
