    2017 Tige RZR Surf Settings

    Hello All

I have been reading threads to try to figure out my 2017 Tige RZR’s surf wave. I have tried many different configurations but can’t find one that works. The best wave I could get was taps at 1 and taps 3 at 1, ballast in the rear was full on both sides and 80% in the front, I also run 100lbs of lead in each rear locker and 50lbs in the bow. I know this boat can throw a better wave than that.

What I’m wondering is the best taps and taps 3 setting’s. I’ also wondering what the best speed is. I usually have 4 adults in the boat weighing about 650lbs.

I know more weight would help but I’m not able to get that before my holidays.

    Any help would be appreciated.

So I have an r20 but I would try these settings

    Goofy side

Since you have lead weight I would try the front at 80-90%
Surf side rear 100% and offside 90% or 100% both sides and move bodies to surf side.
With the added weight you should be able to go faster but 10.8 is a good base line.
I would do taps 5 and taps 3 at 4-5

Normal side all same settings except I have found to drop a little more weight on the off side helps.

The goal with the 20 footer seems to be get the a#* end down in the water. Hope that helps I just got 500lbs of lead and can't find someone to go out and play yet so my settings may change.

      Nailed it^^^

If you upgrade your rear sacs to the w004 your wave will totally change too and you don’t lose any storage.

Like others have mentioned starting at 4 and 4 seems best. Currently our light crew setup(driver only) is all stock ballast full (1600lbs) 100lbs lead on surf side rear seat. 100lbs lead in side seat locker and 400lbs portable ballast bag in side seat locker pushed back so its touching the factory rear bag. Can get consistent surfable wave with this. Lots of advice on here to go faster but we have been happy at 10.7 otherwise wave gets too long. We have been able to go to 5 on Taps but the wash starts to get pretty close to the lip of the wave. with Taps at 4 the wash is a good 5-6" away from the lip. Good luck and let us know if you find a system that works well.
