Pictures Of Slalom Ski Wakes Behind Crossover Boat

Does anyone have pictures of the wakes when someone is slalom skiing behind their crossover boat? It could be the Nautique SV211, the Tige 20v, the Malibu Sunscape LSV or new Wakesetter VTX with the Diamond Cut hull, the MC X2, or any other "crossover" boat.

By the way, I always get a kick out of the manufacturer's videos on their web sites for these crossover boats. They show a skier cutting aggressively outside the wake but always do a fade-out before the person needs to cross the wake, so you can never really tell how big the wake is.

    Thanks!

I could get you pictures of the wake behind the nautique I used to own but what would good would it due for you. The wake would look very low and in fact was low, but even though it was a crossover boat it was a very hard wake with a lip that would bounce us when trying to go through the coarse. I can tell you for a fact that behind my tige I have a very nice low wake that I can just lice through. Bare in mind the history of Tige , there 1st boat was rookie of the year for slalom, and they won best slalom boat for the next several there after, when the market changed they changed with it coming up with best of both worlds or wake however you want to call it. But bottom line is go drive and ski behind them all, you will find out the tige does it all.

Thanks for the tip, bfrank. The problem I have with the WaterSki Mag Boat Tests are that the wake they show in the photo is typically at 22 mph (so it's really the wakeboard wake), and if they do have a video of someone skiing, they always fade the shot before someone is crossing the wake. So they only show a hard cut by the skiier way outside the wake on the flat water.

        Thanks.

I have to agree that Waterskimag has become worthless. They don't have a harsh word on anything. It's 93 boat adds.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I also disagree with the boat tests ....but I found the Wake pictures to give you a good generalization of crest and table.

Thanks for the comment, BFrank. I agree that the picture gives you a good generalization of the crest & table of the wake, but my issue is that the wake they show for crossover boats is the wakeboarding wake at 22 MPH...so you have no idea what the water ski wake looks like. For crossover boats, they should have pictures of three wakes - one at 10MPH (with ballasts/lift system engaged for surfing), one at 22MPH for wakeboarding, and one at 32MPH with no ballasts for slalom skiing.

              Thanks.

My question on pics would be what if they exagerate a little, ie say the pic is at 32 and they are really going 35 or say five people in the boat and really only 1. I'm with the group that says experience it for yourself. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but I tend to live life by the seat of my pants. How does it feel to wakeboard, ski vs seeing a picture of it.

I guess first hand knowledge would be the best way to find out.

I agree. You should test them out (easier said than done). I have seen some boats that look like a huge wakeboard wake, but it is soft and mushy when you hit it and it doesn't do much for me. Feeling is worth a thousand pics.
                    Be excellent to one another.

Most of my pics are large and I do not want to take the time to RE-SIZE them all.
So, , ,Email me if you want some pics of Cross-overs.
I have extensive pics of Tige's and Correct Crafts.

The Surf pic is real and this is not my Idea of a GREAT cross-over Boat
