I noticed another glitch yesterday. I have a 05 24V and the tach needle seems to have gotten stuck at 5,000 RPMs. The tach needle still moves when you rev the engine but it goes from 5,000 to 6,000 and then back to 5,000 when back at idle. I pulled the gauge to inspect for any water or condensation and I don't see any.
Any ideas if the needle can be manually reset to "0" or is the gauge done for? From what I can tell it is a Faria gauge and there is a hole in the center of the back that seems to match the needle position. I wonder if I can wind the needle back like a clock? lol
This gauge also has the digital engine hour meter so If i replace my engine hours would no longer be accurate. Thanks al!
