    HELP!!! 24V 6.0L suddenly won't start...

I am baffled. boat started fine and ran great last time out. I am attempting to start the boat on the trailer with a fake lake before we go out tomorrow and nothing. I have power, the helm beeps, radio turns on, but i turn the key and nothing. The starter doesn't even attempt to turn the boat over. It is as if the starter isn't getting any power? a short, loose ground? I got up under the dash and all wires seem to be securely connected to the ignition switch.

Any ideas???? I know it will take a miracle but I am hoping this is a quick fix to save the day tomorrow as we have friends visiting for the sole purpose of going out on the boat. FML.

I also want to add that when i turn the key one click to the right the electric fuel pump also kicks on and primes. But when I try to turn it over nothing.

Possibly the neutral position switch on the throttle is not engaged?

Is the lanyard connected? Done both, tried to start in gear and with the lanyard not connected.

Oh my gosh!!!!!! Boat wasn't in neutral. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!! MY MIND WAS THINKING THE WORST.

A week ago (between outings) I installed some LED lights and had to take off the interior panel where the throttle is to run my wires. I must have not reset the thorttle to neutral.

          THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!!!!

Nice, glad you figured it out....was gonna say that was symptom of throttle not being in neutral. We all have a brain fart occasionally, last summer I crawled around boat for 20mins, checking battery cables n grounds cause my boat was doing same thing, I was totally stumped on why it would not start....finally called my dealer and that was FIRST thing he said, I felt like suck an idiot, lol.
