So the 16 RZX ran stock ballast. 3000 lbs. plug n play ronix bags. ~540 lbs each. Don’t remember exact size. 750 lbs lead. 400 in the bow. 100 in each corner of the surf locker. Plus 150 opposite driver side to “approximately” balance out driver. Then ran a bag in the surf locker...figured about 300 lbs and a bag under side bench opposite driver ~ 300 lbs. then would dump driver side to 70-80%. I liked to have about 3-4% of list. (Damn i miss that feature-the 18s need that back). Then usually 3 or 4 dudes. If I had more people would need to dump weight. Usually ran 11.2-11.6 mph.

Took a while to figure it out but when that boat sang she was awesome. Really like 2-1 transmission on the 18’s. So much quieter and so much more power. The 16 ran over 4000 rpms with that setup. The 18 probably runs around 3600.

Mitch is tearing it up this year. I might have been better last year but CrossFit boy is kicking my *** this year. Time to lose the beer belly. Damnit I love beer.
