Lead location

Got 600# of lead on the way from the group buy (THANKS!!!!) and now I'm wondering location. Boat is a 2015 Rz2 with surf XL ballasts. I read about putting some in the activity lockers. Is that the 2 bins on the back of the boat for ropes and such? Any advise on location would be greatly appreciated. Anywhere to hide it in the front other than the cooler?

I put the bulk of my lead just aft of mid-ship and it seems to work the best there so far.

As far back as possible - underneath your bags. I also put 100 lbs in the nose, you will have to crawl up there under the floor...

I am not super familiar with the RZ2 layout, but if its anything like the Z there is a small panel in front of the drivers helm that you can unscrew. Pop that panel out and slide the bags up the nose from there.

I’ll be ordering some wakeballast bags here shortly for my RZ4. So I’m interested in this too. Idk about the RZ2, but the front now cushion on the RZ4 has a large hole under it where you can access all of the front area.

I stack 100# behind the rear plastics. On the starboard side you remove the little square panel and there's a ton of room. The mirrored panel o. The port side I do the same, though it's a little tougher with the two batteries. Then I line the floor with 50s moving towards the bow along the engine dividers under the bags. The last on is almost all the way at the end of the L bag. The bow care can also be accessed by climbing in the spotters locker and removing the plastic. 2 screws in the floor and one on top to remove it. Then you can stack lead around the cooler. Same story on the other side
