Tower LEDrings controlled by Touch 2

Hi, I have just bought the wetsounds led rings for my rev8 & 10’s in the tower. I want to control them by the function on the tige tough2. Where do you tie them in to?

    Thanks

Single color? RGB needs a separate controller. You can turn the controller on/off via the blue tower light output, but the controller's wireless remote has an on/off button anyway.

Red wire with black stripe on the two pin connector at the upper pdm. Follow that wire as far as you want to go and cut it. Then use it as your power source for the RGB controller.
      Oh Yeah!

Koolaid nailed it. I've found the red wire with the stripe usually ends with a blue butt connector on it and is usually in the harness under the starboard gunnel in between throttle and helm kick panel. It's just been poking out everytime I've found it.

Awesome Thank you. I will tackle this after work today. Hopefully I can grab some good photos to show what’s required for everyone in the future 🤙

I am doing the same thing this weekend. Let me know if you grab any pics. I am also connecting underwater lights. What does that cable look like for linking into the Touch 2?

Blue wire with either a black or white stripe on it. Believe its black tho. Will also have a ground wire with it for the lights. One in the starboard locker. Found last one in with the drain pump wiring loom. Another pair for the second light should be on with the port drain pump split loom. Same wire colors.

Guys- ok. Found my red wire with black strip and blue butt connector for RGB speaker lights and also the underwater light wires! Thanks. Now what about the wires for tower and mood lights? Colors and location of those? I may have figured out the tower? Is it the blue/black strip next to the red striped on the PDU? As always, thanks!

Blue with yellow stripe on the lower pdm's grey connector. That's an easy way to trace it.
                    Oh Yeah!

for mood which is pin 4.
Sorry I overlooked your tower light question. It is pin 5 on the same plug which is a solid blue wire.

Isn't it? I feel bad as I've had several questions as I go through all my upgrades on the new boat. I can't believe any other manufacture has such awesome support and that is probably the largest reason (out of many) I stayed with Tige in 2018! Kudos!

Kool - I think your job may be a little easier if they labeled these wires that, in a boat like the R Series, has a good chance of being used as an after purchase upgrade? Just a thought??

They actually are labeled if you can find the end of the wire. Typically they are tied up and are a pain to get to. Easier to say color and have it traced. Back in the day the wires were labeled all the way down the wires. Even things like the transom lights are labeled at the end of its wires and tied up near their transom location.
                              Oh Yeah!
