DIY quick Bimini surf rack - with cargo net bungee
Sorry its Home Depot Brand - Husky (just had it laying around) Plan to paint the yellow part red or black to match and trim off the ends. Actually looks pretty cool in person.

Good idea, board rack on the cheap!
Careful how much sun exposure you give your boards, you can damage them that way. Put em in a surf sock or something.
That is what I was gonna suggest too ^^. Hot sun will bubble a good board, the factory pockets have a liner built in, so a sock would be good tho I would still be leary about long hours in really hot weather. I have a board bag and on one side it has a reflective material that helps deflect heat....that could be other good investment. Course they you gotta take it out of the bag, but unless you live up North and never get 90+ degree's, be careful.
It worked out perfect! I do have a board sock for the board when I placed it up there. I had to think of something as I have 4 young boys 2,4,6 and 8 years old and they were just too close to that board for comfort.
