Noob question about seat removal

OK, I hope this isn't too stupid a question. I am trying to swap out the stock tower on my new (for me at least) 99 pre2100. I have figured everything out except cant see to get the seat out the curves around on the passenger side. I see there are two studs that come through on the side, but part that the flip down attaches to much be attached some where and I can't find it.

The flip down back to get into the compartment?If so there is a piano hinge with 6-8 screws.Take pic pls

They’re is likely someone on this forum that can envision what you are talking about on that particular boat, but pics will hopefully help get an answer faster

On the side panel, peel the two rolls apart and you will see where they just ran screws through the seat into the fiberglass.

OK, sorry for the lack of response. I was busy contorting myself to get to bolts and couldn't figure out how to upload a pic.

Below is a pic of the piece I am trying to get off. I was able to get the side piece loose by removing the nuts in the dot locations. The circled area is the parts I can't seem to figure out how to get loose.

Crap I still can't figure it out.

Flip the cushion down and there should be 6-8 screws in the hinge. Maybe lift up the upholstery excess flap to see the screws

Do the hinge screws hold the piece below it in as well? I want to take that whole corner out.

Why do you need to remove that cushion to install a tower?

At this point I have figured out how to get the new tower in. However, this fall I am going to start doing some interior restoration, so it would still be good to know.
