Well it looks like we’re gonna be paying tariffs upwards of 10% more than what we already do on imported boats... Even more on aluminum fishing boats but unless I’m reading this wrong any pleasure boat falls under this category too. So with our crappy dollar and now this tariff crap you might as well add 45% onto that price.... I honestly feel bad for dealers, we’ve got North America’s largest Yamaha dealer 30 min from my house, my Nautique dealer was the largest inboard boat dealer and well not sure that’s gonna last...

We have a bunch of customers in Elko so I am there a couple times a year but they said no dice

For our friendly neighbors to the north, hopefully next election cycle we can get a trade friendly guy in that doesn't want to rattle his saber on IG. Don't care what what capital letter he/she puts on the end of their name.

Not sure if that will change too much bsreid. Wizard is the largest Nautique dealer in North America a few years over now. Oil boys will always have lots of money. I follow them on IG and it's crazy how many boats are rolling out of that dealership on a daily basis.

It’s a pain though. Total cost could be as high as 18 percent on some models.

Targeted at the trump states where most boats are produced.

I’m a pro business pro free trade pro fiscal conservative but as a car dealer in Canada all of this tariff stuff is going to be a real burden on industry both sides of the boarder.

I hope Cooler heads prevail and someone eventually puts a little balance back in the idea of fiscal conservatism.

On that note I’m hitting the water.

had to buy a 16' foot section of my floe dock this afternoon (lake went down) and when I was in there, the owner told me his pricing for all of his docks/lifts/parts/etc will be going up 15% as of July 1st because of the tariffs put on by Trump. And to make it worse since the whole trade wars the $ has also dropped by 3-5 cents so add that to the already 15% and your almost at a 20% increase because of politics.

A president almost gets impeached because he gets a blowjob by a willing participant (didn't cost anything to the US people) and you now have the dumbest most aragent president in office ever, who's costing everyone millions/trillions of $'s and he's still got his job....blows my mind.

I couldn't agree more. I'm in favor of tariffs when used as a price equalizer to protect your home industry but this is pure stupidity. Much like everything he does is pure stupidity. By far the worst president we've had in my 60+ years (and we've had some bad ones). Now he has the potential to really mess up a horrible Supreme Court which continues to send us down the toilet. I may have to move to Canada one day for some sanity (you guys are legalizing pot at least). Unfortunately we have a antiquated system that occasionally let's the person who comes in second become President (dumb and will get changed one day).
