Warning alerts after installing new battery

So I installed a new battery and all seemed good. When turned the tige touch on while in my garage I didn't get the low voltage warning that I have got since I've had the boat. I did get a shallow water (not exactly sure on the wording) warning that I have never seen before. I assumed it was because it was on the trailer but not sure why it hasn't done it before?? I had the boat out all day Saturday and randomly got the shallow water warning and another warning that said something about "can data loss". Any suggestions?

Change your low depth warning alarm depth. Sounds like it reset for some reason.

It will always give you can data warning if the engine is off and the screen is on.
    Oh Yeah!

Thanks I will do that this weekend. Probably a stupid question but what is can data?

Stands for Controller Area Network. If you Google CAN bus you can read for hours and hours on some pretty technical info.
Basically its a network that allows all the different modules to communicate with each other (in your case screen and engine ECM).
