You can get a real nice max for similar money and 10X the boat.

        ^^^This.
For the DIY guy you can get one barebones and do your own stereo. Most amount of storage vs ballast in the "budget" boat category. Raptor. Rear sliding seat. Yes please.

On a side note and back to OP, I feel like the GPH really depends on weight. When I run lots of lead and 10 people ita up around 9-10 GPH(r23 with a 400 at aprox 3k ft). A little less lead, 5 bodies, and some smoother water and we go down to 5-6 GPH. I know that sounds crazy. Used a full tank in 5 hours with lots of lead and bodies, used 14 gal in 3 hours the other night with weight out and 5 bodies.

'17 Z3 with Taps3, Surf XL, currently 500lb extra, 2419 prop, usually running at 5000'. I'm a nerd on the side I guess, I track hours and fuel after each trip on a spreadsheet. Lifetime average after 67.5 hours is 5.99 gallons per hour.

Still hoping to do a run-dry day sometime because I don't believe the fuel gauge, have a separate thread on that somewhere, I've never added more than 27gallons despite often showing empty after 4-5hours on the engine. Going with my worst day at 7gph, I should still be able to do 6.5hours and easily make it back to the dock.
