Wind storm came through Minneapolis last night. We just bought our first boat (r21) a few weeks ago and had it on the water twice. Gonna be a tough summer trying to sort this all out. Ouch. This is a bummer for sure. Very sorry you won't be enjoying your new purchase because of mother nature.
It's hard to really get a sense of how bad it is with a tree and a cover on it. More pics after all that's out of the way would help.
Obviously tower, and quite possibly tower bases. Gel coat repairs possibly as well. Possibly some windshield pieces as well. I'm guessing the walkthru window was open, if not, it's gone for sure.
Otherwise, it honestly looks like you got lucky (searching for the good in the bad here). It appears that the tower really caught the tree and saved a ton of fiberglass damage, but again these pics don't say much. Possibly some upholstery skins as well. Maybe damage to trailer suspension from the added weight as well. -

I'm no arborist, or logger, but I have been heating with wood for a long time...
I would consider having someone with a bit of chainsaw knowledge come out and take that limb the has ton ton of tension against the starboard bow and the big ugly guy that's near port side trailer guide pole that's bent back underneath. Taking some of the top that's off the boat probably wouldn't be a bad idea either. I guess the rigger in me says remove a ton of the variables that could cause more damage before just throwing some slings on and winching up. Considering it's weight, length, and odd size/shape there is a decent chance they don't nail it center of gravity and as they pull it's going to "lever" a bit. The shorter it gets and the more stuff that could hang up will reduce further damage. That's my .02, or how I would go about it if it was in my backyard.

That hurts to look at! Freeheel is right, Get as much weight off of it as you can. Hopefully there is no damage to the hull and you can get by with swapping out the tower, walkthrough windscreen and repair any gelcoat and upholstery after the season is over.Oh Yeah!Comment

Got the tree off. Vast majority of the impact was taken by the tower. Some scratches on the exterior but nothing outrageous. Without cleaning and inspecting, only noticed one bad cushion rip in the bow. The tree weighed 3600lbs according to the load cell on the crane. Wondering more about structural damage that might not be noticeable to the naked eye due to that level of force. Will have the dealer do a more thorough assessment once I get it there Thursday night.
