    TIGE Protect-All Cover

Has anyone looked into purchasing the Outer Armour Protect-All Cover that Tige introduced for 2017s for their older boats? Is it even available to purchase separately? The cover on my 2015 RZR is in good shape yet; about to be 303'd, but I would really like something that is weather/rain proof. My boat sits in the driveway at the lake with the OEM cover on it, but does nothing to keep water out from around the tower base. https://tige.com/protect-all-boat-cover
If I could purchase one reasonably, I would be all over purchasing this Protect-All cover. Wondering also about storing for 4-5 days at a time with the tower in the down position week after week from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Thanks for any thoughts-other than "get a lift". That unfortunately is not an option at this time.

Try putting a bungee cord or rat her strap around cover and tower base.

The only real problem with just co-opting the new over the tower cover is your tower. The new over the tower cover is custom tailored to the E2 that folds forward. Your Alpha folds back and would need a cover sewed differently to truly be effective. If you just purchased the current cover I would bet water would pool between windshield and tower in stowed position. If you did some work tenting it, it might work.
I have no idea what the cost of buying the cover by itself would be but I wouldn't doubt it's north of a thousand bucks. I would 303 your cover and work on tenting it really well and I bet you find the only place water gets in is around tower bases.
I've never tried it but I've always thought with some time and planning a guy could install snaps just past the Velcro at tower base so that the cover closes up tighter to the tower base.

I contacted commercial sewing for one for my 24ve. They sent me back to dealer. Only to find out they don’t sell dealer direct so had to go back to Tige only to find out no match for my tower. Tige recomended finding a local canvas shop.

I am going to reach out to Cory at Evolution Covers, and see if he has done anything for the R20/RZR. Bought a custom cover from him for my Mastercraft before picking up the RZR last year. Maybe he has done something that works to seal off the base of the tower.

Honestly try spraying it first. My r20 lived outside in the summer and it stayed bone dry all year and it rained A LOT.

Mine was outside from Memorial Day->last weekend. Everything underneath the gaps around the tower bases was soaked and filthy. About a gallon of water pumped out of the bilge as well. Over those couple weeks there was a couple inches of rain, but regardless of how much it rains; I do not want to clean underneath those gaps every weekend. Still pondering what to use and how to wrap something up a bit on the tower legs over that gapping fabric to drape over the gaps to allow water to run over the outside and not down into them. Someone somewhere has to have created a way for a cover to seal around tower legs.

The alpha z tower is definitely harder to get a seal with the Velcro. Try wrapping packing wrap around the tower base.
