Your angle looks pretty similar to mine and the front plate is almost the same size. Your design should work just fine although I agree with the others on the suction cups. I think you’re gonna have a bit@h of a time getting that front lever pushed down with your design. Without a good amount of finger room it can be hard to latch them on the boat. Once that cup starts making suction on a wet surface it can take a bit of force to latch down.
Additionally, I chose to cut an angle on the front plate where it sits closest to the boat so that it can be placed at a slight downward angle without the front plate hitting the step in the hull. This way the water is deflected down and doesn’t spray into your boat. I’m not sure if the 22V has that step like the 22VE has where the hull connects to the gunnel though. I know the RZ2 has it as well.
