Having trouble with power on boat

Just got my 2016 RZX back from shop where 3 actuators got replaced and the wet sound amp was adjusted. Last summer my amp only worked a few times but I never had the time
to take into shop. The amp worked a few times out this summer but stop powering up on the 3rd trip out to lake. On the last trip out to lake my tige touch screen and all my gauges
lost power. I called the dealership and was instructed to put the power switch in emergency position and all power was restored. I was able to get all ballast out and boat back on
trailer. I'm thinking its got to be one of 3 things. One of the batteries or there is a short or my alternator is not putting out enough charge. Wait time to get the boat looked at
is four weeks and I really don't really want to wait that long to get back on lake. Any suggestions on what the problem is. Frustrated I am.

A $20 volt/ohm meter will confirm or rule out two of those in a mater of minutes.

There are no adjustments that will fix an intermittently working amp. Is it just one of the two amps, or its there just one? If two, which amp?

      Mike nails it^^

If you had to switch to combine then your deep cycle battery was most likely dead. I would get it charged up, Then run boat on fake a lake and confirm it is getting a charge from alternator/isolator while running.

Probably a dead battery issue. Volt meter it. Engine off and engine on.

Might have missed a cable putting the batteries back in. Could be the problem why not charging.

If you have the same set up as my 15 Z3, the battery terminal fuse shown in this post might be your problem: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...ery-on-2015-Z3

Don't worry about not using your boat until it is repaired, run it in the combine/emergency position. Just don't listen to your stereo for extended time with the engine off or you could run down both batteries.

Maybe check all wiring connections to make sure everything is hooked up. On mine I was actually missing a ground on the acc battery so it wouldn’t run anything
