For being a little rusty, that’s nice form.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

@ctmccahill....yep, my favorite lake for sure. After Pueblo, finished the day on my buddies lake. The time honored tradition of soaking people on the dock never gets old.

That should be named Bakes Cove....

how does the sky ski do hanging on the rack? I’ve been wanting to put one on, but worry about the weight and stress plus I need all the rack space for the other nonsense...

Foil racks are nice and sturdy. Most modern towers do just fine with the weight. I am not sure how an 06 tower would hold up with 30+ pounds of hydrofoil up there, in addition to speakers etc.

Bakes, I would not be spraying those people and then falling in front of them, hahaha! I am usually more chicken$h!! and run away when I do something like that to someone. As a teenager, we once drove around Montrose Colorado and sprayed people with a fire extinguisher full of water (and drove away, of course). I also got up on waterskis for the first time...not sure what lake it was, but couldn't be too far.

              Terrific glassy water!
              Be excellent to one another.

The foil moves more than I like so I run a line from the foil strut support to the tower. That holds it in rock solid in all conditions.

Yeah, those are my friends on the dock so all is good. Had a guy on a stand up paddler that was super fun to spray but didn't get any pics.

Today was windy, cloudy and 15 degrees colder. Still pretty fun. Had a boatload so it was just kind of a surf, tube and chill day. Of note, we we able to get a pretty good surf wave without any water ballast. Just stuck everyone on the back port side and we were able to go rope free pretty easily.

Was actually GREAT in my area today cause a rain system has been moving thru (I know, this does not sound like a good thing). Since no lightening was predicted...we decided to go with it. Since I knew there would be a good bit of rain and my brother is a member of boat club, we decided to take a club boat and get it wet so I did not spend next 2 days drying out my boat. We got a Four Winns reverse drive (only come stock with 1350lbs)....but since I lugged 500lbs of lead, it actually was not bad at all, surfable for sure. We got to lake at 10am and surfed that boat till 12:30 and then a buddy showed up with his brand new Nautique G25 that he just bought on Saturday....so we surfed that boat till around 5pm (thank goodness someone else had a set of ballz to still show up in the rain). Even with stock ballast, was still a very nice wave (much better than the Four Winns, lol) and we had a blast! It rained lightly on and off entire time we were there but it was awesome cause there was almost NOONE on the lake so it was calm water. This is a huge lake and normally on Memorial Day, I would not even be on water after 1pm cause it gets so crazy. Literally saw a few fishing boats and some cops cruising around and that was about it for the entire 7hrs we were there. Oh yea, a few paddle boards came out during breaks in the rain.

1 pic behind the G25 today....only pic taken today (of me at least)
