    Question..

When the boat is on the trailer sitting in the street, driveway etc. Will the oil level be different then when sitting in the water? I would assume so...

How do you know what angle to to put the boat at when the boat is on the trailer to properly check all fluid levels??

sorry if this is a repeat question, I searched and could not find the answer

Yes, the trailer can effect the fluid level in regards to the dip sticks.

Lay a level on the floor and adjust the trailer jack

I just did my oil change and the PCM manual said to test the dipstick when you are on the water. I suppose it makes sense that the floor of the boat should be level when sitting on the water in a normal condition. Of course once you start surfing the nose comes up and then its a crap-shoot. I assume they've thought of that.

The manual was very specific that you not put too much oil in.

I check my fluids on the water as well. I typically have a quart of engine oil and ATF in my truck to top off if needed.
