2013 Z1 - GPS Speedo Issues / alarm

Hi guys, new to me Z1, first time out today and the tige touch gps speedo reads 0.0, same with gauge. Consequently the cruise control doesn't appear to work.

After cruising for a few mins the yellow warning beeps and light happen.

Possibly connected? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe it does, cant recall when they finally offered it. Find the black puck, find its cable on the other side of the deck and see of its connected to the cable.

Would the puck be exposed or hidden?

Any relation to the yellow engine warning? Also noticed the house battery stayed at 12V all day, not sure if it charging. Starting batt moves around a little

Puck should on the deck top, usually in front of the windshield. Cable goes out the bottom through the deck with a connector about 10" down.

I dont think the speed would be tied to the yellow engine code light

Did not find any pics of a 2013, but a handful of 2014. Didnt see a GPS puck until I looked at a 2015. So not sure where it would be on a 2013.

Update: Speedo was mechanical and had an issue with the paddle wheel, so that is fixed!

Now on to the yellow malfunction light. Does this light issue warnings for temp, oil, ect? Or codes? The PCM manual is not very clear.

Temp and pressure were OK when it was happening, only happened under load and not idle or going slow. Possibly bad fuel? Seemed to be idling a little rough. Next is going to the mechanic but they are backed up at the moment and trying to get out this weekend.

Any info or guesses would be appreciated!!

99% sure its engine codes.

It is codes. You need to have the software to plug in to know what the code is. Only a class one code flashes the dash warning light, so its something significant.

Just an update in case it can help someone in the future, seems the yellow warning light was being activated by a speedo code. Lack of speed or incorrect speed being sensed by the damaged paddlewheel threw the code...atleast according to the dealer.
