Welllll sometimes my dealer doesnt mark things up so maybe that is the case. Its been a couple days and still no word from medallion. If I dont hear from them tomorrow I will call again...

Yeah you could put in manual switches as freeheel4life said, but the one issue is the speed set. Dont think you could work that out. I can still run stereo and run the boat and the manual switches for pumps are next to the medallion box so I could even fill and empty along with run the blower. So the boat would function just not easy and you would have to be really steady on the throttle to hold a speed. Thats whats odd to me is that the display still displays just fine, but the touch piece of it isnt working. I would think if it was going out it was start having display issues as well, but I suck at technology so obviously thats not the case. We will see what medallion says.

free- thought about that on the old tige and really you could get a switchbank and wire in place everything you need sans the speedset and that early 2010's models still had a dash with useful gauges.

kinda wish that tige would have followed supra's suite for a while offering both screens and buttons/levers. all these new boats with all the fancy stuffs are going to be a money maker for someone as they start to hit the 6-10 year mark and we all know how well supported this stuff is long term.

still think there's a repair avenue here but issue is it's such low volume that wouldn't pay out.

someone needs to wire and program ipad for a replacement! there is someone on this site who is prob capable of it. ie tige speed set replacement older models. This has always been my worry of the touch screen aswell, watching to see what happens, good luck.

Sandm, even Supra did away with the redundant switches(sadly). I think theres something to be said for the early Rseries that ran switches. IIRC correctly 15s have the Raptor and no screen...

Free- ya, I know I have seen the latest supra dashes and following the rest of the sheep....

I think my issue with this technology are that unlike cars that have, in most cases, thousands and thousands of units produced and a healthy used market off ebay/junkyards/rockauto support, boats are smaller production and most boat manuf. don't support beyond the run of boats that use them hence reaching out to medallion and basically at their mercy.
I get that there's development costs in all this however the medallion touchscreen can't be more than a few hundred in parts/materials to produce and I think that's on the generous side but your hands are tied.

unicorn for me always will be a '09 22/24ve. alpha z and no tt.

For me, '08 RZ2, Z tower (the 3" pipe tower with giant billet uprights), Marine power engine with early medallion gauges.
                Oh Yeah!

If anyone wants to develop and I pad screen set to run the system I would help with the wiring portion. I think it would be easier to interface with just a set of switches though. The bigger issue is cruise control but then again a stand alone star gazer would work it.

from my monkeying in the 22ve moving the medallion panel for a jl sub and wiring a relay setup off it for additional drain/fill pumps it seems that you could easily jumper wires into the main board and run to a switch panel to control most functions and the hard wired medallion panel should be robust enough to last years. stereo screen and cruise were always the parts that had me scratching my head but if stargazer integrates into the factory wiring sounds like that will be the long term for some. the next 5 years will have setups popping up I believe. part of the work is already done with the redundant switch panel next to medallion to limp you home.

if there is one thing I can commend Heyday for doing it's integrating into a simple ipad. I get the proprietary of the murphy and medallion setups but sure would be nice if the compatibility was there.

kool, I'm with ya on that year as well. hard to find as I would suspect 08-11 were some of the lowest output years at tige with the economy.
