    Underwater light

    Hey guys and gals,

I just recently picked up a 2007 tige rz2. I am coming from a 1997 Malibu sunsetter and before that, a 1989 Supra saltarie. I am love the features of the tige and getting used to the technology.

The boat has an underwater light that is Half filled with water and doesn’t obviously work. Has anyone seen a light like this? It looks like a big nut. Does anyone have any experience removing it? It looks like there is a set screw but no Allen wrench fits in there. Here is a pic:

Its an old school (by today's standards) thru-hull yacht light. Remove the inside nut, break the adhesive seal, call fiber glass guy, buy 2 new surface mount LEDs and install.
