    Weather proof boat cover

Is there a better cover than the sunbrella style from Tige? I live in the Pacific Northwest and we get a fair bit of rain.

She doesn’t spend much time out in the rain but if I get caught then a nicer cover would be good.

It could he from Tige or aftermarket. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would go to https://www.boatcoversdirect.com man... They have great replacement covers and standby their product.... I bought one 3 years ago and just had an issue on the road where it ripped but they replaced it for free. I never had an issue with water getting in it either..

Honestly if you spray your cover with 303 fabric gaurd you have no need for a new cover as long as it’s noy torn apart.

x2. What's wrong with the original cover? Is it pooling in the back and seeping through? Quick McGiver action can help there.

After hearing the reviews on the 303 I am wanting to try it on an old cover at our shop.
That being said, we have a local cover guy that kills it. He uses a fabric calls Aqualon and it's incredible. It's the most waterproof material I've seen. Stands up to UV, and when tented correctly boat will stay dry thru about anything. If there's a decent cover person locally I would see if they could make you a cover using it.
Haven't seen a lot of aftermarket cover offerings though as when covers bite the dust we send our customers to our local guy.

My Tige cover works pretty good. Putting a new coat of 303 on it def helps. But I would love a cover that goes over the tower. Water tends to get in my cover near the base of the tower.

If water is getting in around the base, wrap the tower and cover with pallet shipping wrap to seal it.

I got an aftermarket cover for my old Supra when I had it from Bald Mikes. Absolutely amazing cover with no leaks even in heavy rain.

Haven't had an issue yet but I do need to clean mine and will spray the 303 fabric guard. When in my driveway my boat lives under a 20'x30' tarp to cover the tower/speakers and just keep prying eyes out.

I used the 303 fabric guard and the cover is better than new. We just washed it with some mild soap and warm water and put it on right after the cover dried. We used 3- 6’ step ladders to keep the cover off the ground. The large container was the exact amount needed to put two coatings on the cover. I totally recommend this to anyone thinking about it.

                      Cheers. B
