VX hull extension for Z1

I have a 2014 Z1 and just learned about the VX hull extension that I do not have on my boat. I called Tige but they no longer offer that part. Does anyone know where I can find one for my boat?

Are you talking about the Convex VX? If so, I would be open to selling mine off of my 2013 Z1. I store my boat in a garage which requires me to take my swim step off and bolting and unbolting the VX every time is a pain! Let me know of you are interested. Thanks!

You need way more weight to make the vx benificial so unless you’re gonna go full out on ballast I wouldn’t bother and just run suc gate. Or upgrade to taps 3 would be your best move.

When you say way more weight, how much is that? I’ve got a Z3 that I just added a vx to, upgraded bags, the factory hard tanks and 100lb lead in each rear corner. Does this get close enough to what is needed in a z1/z3? I have a Z3.

I had one on my Rz2 and I modified it changed the angle steeper and put my custom taps plate on and needless to say my wave was massive but if you have it mounted at stock the wave is small and not good so if you go with a vx pm me and I can get it set we’re you will want it

Just out of curiosity, were you running even weight and shaper or listed after you changed you VX angle??

When you say upgraded bags, are you talking upgraded to the Surf XL? If so or bigger you will be good with that weight - it will be a very nice wave!

This is just me but I would go to a surf system, totally different wave. You don’t understand until you ride one.

I didn’t need a shaper after I changed the angle of the vx and I was running 1100lbs each rear locker

I might be interested in your AVX. I have the VX, just not sure how much would be involved in retrofitting the AVX. How much are you looking to get for it?
