TAPS 3 surf tabs not moving up or down from Tige Touch 2 interface

    Hi everyone,

I just bought a 2015 ASR that has had TAPS 3 installed. The Tige Touch 2 interface shows the Surf tab settings, meaning I can set the numbers up and down for the Surf Left and Surf Right, but the Port and Starboard surf tabs don't actually move up or down - only the center TAPS plate will move as I switch back and forth.

Can the port and starboard tabs go up and down while the boat is on a trailer, or do they automatically engage once you hit a certain speed and you cannot manually see them work?

Any ideas on what to do? I appreciate any help you may be able to provide

They only move when boat is under way.

You can go into dealer settings to make sure the system is operational. Call your dealer, make sure that the trailer is up far on the bunks and that if a plate travels all the way down it wont hit anything. At that point you can go into into dealer settings and manually cycle the tabs to make sure they are operational.

        Thanks Elevated and Lee -
I really appreciate your help. I've seen a few threads on here about ideal surf ballast/speed/taps set ups as well. I'm sure I'll have more questions, but happy to have joined the Tige family!
