I used to work in a sign shop in high school. We had the only shop in town that was doing computer cut vinyl. It is really easy. Get a squirt bottle and put a tsp. or so of dawn in it. The graphics come sandwiched in some 3M applique paper. Peel off the backing and squirt the back side (sticky) liberally with the soapy water. Then squirt down the placement. This will allow you to move it a little, or to take it off and try again pretty much as long as you need to. Once you get it placed, take a bondo squegee, or something similar, and start working the vinyl down from one side. Just keep going over it to get most of the air out. Once you have it squegeed, you can peel the top layer of paper off at a negative angle to the vinyl. You may need to hold some corners down with the squegeeto prevent peeling. Hit it again with the squegee right on the vinyl to get more of the air out. After a couple of days, a razor blade will get the remaining. You want it to get some sun for a day or two first though.
If you need help getting it centered, you can use marking pencilsto make center lines on the stickers and the surface, then squegee out from that, and it will line up into place as it flattens.
I am sure if enough people wanted, we could talk to Ray about a group buy for tow vehicles stickers of the smaller graphic with the double swooshes. I am already getting two more for my rigs.
