I prefer to work in tight places and uncomfortable positions apparently. I removed belt but did impeller switch still hooked up to boat. I will remove it all and then put new impeller in.

Ok, quick update. Finally got back into blue today. My impeller looks like a brand new super high performance thingy. It is supposed to look like this right? So based on what I found in strainer and in impeller housing I’d say I got 60-80 of the impeller blades. Do I need to check tranny cooler lines? Everything looks clear with flashlight. Anywhere else I should check for rubber or slap a new one on and go full throttle? Remember, this baby is a 1998. How did I not have problems last year, no problem winterizing?? Also, I ran it last week with water hose into impeller housing and plenty of water out exhaust. How? Thanks again for all the help. Also, can I change my thread so I don’t sound like a bitch complaining about basic repairs on a 20 years old boat? Thanks. Plan to fix, new j hose on water pump, new impeller, new raw water pickup hose. 7C71B234-5853-4346-8131-EF7CFEEFBC15.jpg7C71B234-5853-4346-8131-EF7CFEEFBC15.jpg

Quick update, old blue is in the water and running great. Was able to get j hose for water pump and raw water pickup hose at autozone. Order sierra plastic hosing and impeller kit and install went pretty smooth. Thanks again for all the help from the forum. On the lift with canopy on. Happy boating!
